Our Accredited Therapists come from different professional training backgrounds in Psychotherapy, Counselling and Psychology. This group of therapists have all undertaken a core therapeutic training and achieved the levels of hours and experience to be fully accredited members of UKCP or BACP, or other regulatory member organisation.Our Qualified Therapists have all completed a post graduate therapeutic training and have substantial post qualifying experience working with clients. All are members of BACP or UKCP and working towards accreditation.
Ian is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in a variety of settings including the NHS, charity and private sectors. After developing an interest as an undergraduate in the work of the radical psychiatrist RD Laing and his approach to understanding and treating mental illness Ian went on to complete a therapy training with the Philadelphia Association, the charity Laing established in 1965.
Rachel Singh is an experienced BACP accredited counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Therapy from CPPD (UK). Rachel has a special interest in working with clients with autism spectrum conditions.
Teresa is a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over 10 years’ experience in clinical settings including therapeutic communities, private practice, community organisations and university counselling services.
James is a BACP registered, qualified, psychodynamic counsellor with experience gained with a wide range of presenting issues both in private practice and working for charities to provide counselling support
Alex is a qualified and BACP-registered psychodynamic therapist, with experience in both time-limited and open-ended counselling, within the public and private sectors. Alex’s work centres around understanding our relationships with those closest and around us, and the roles we take when we interact with them.
