Ian is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in a variety of settings including the NHS, charity and private sectors.

Subsequently Ian maintained his affiliation with the Philadelphia Association taking a position as a house therapist in one of their residential therapeutic communities in North London, where he worked for 10 years.
Ian currently maintains well established private psychotherapy practices in Brighton and London where he sees adults for individual psychotherapy. He also continues to base part of his practice within the charity sector in Brighton. Ian is also an approved APPT supervisor and provides individual supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors working within a psychoanalytic/psychodynamic framework.
Ian has always been committed to making psychological therapy as accessible as possible to all sections of the community and he brings this commitment to his role as a senior practitioner at The Therapy Clinic along with the depth and breadth of his skills and experience as a psychotherapist
