Rose Gardner

Rose is founder and Clinical Director at The Therapy Clinic. She is a UKCP accredited therapist and supervisor with 25 years experience of working in mental health settings across the NHS, charity and educational sectors.

As a practitioner Rose works with individuals and couples and with all age groups from adolescents to older adults. Her clinical expertise includes psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive approaches as well as a number of evidence based short term therapy models. She has a particular interest in IPT (Interpersonal Psychotherapy) and TDLP (Time Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy) as cost effective , time limited therapies for depression.

Rose is an experienced supervisor, trainer, academic teacher and organisational consultant. She provides supervision in individual and group formats for psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists and other mental health professionals. Rose also specialises in supervision, reflective practice and mentoring for senior professionals working in demanding clinical and organisational contexts including those dealing with complex cases or working across different therapeutic modalities. In establishing The Therapy Clinic Rose has sought to bring together a group of highly skilled and professional psychotherapists, counsellors and psychologists who share a commitment to social enterprise values and between them offer an exceptional level of expertise in a range of evidence based therapies. In doing so she has drawn on her previous experience of senior management and leadership roles within statutory and voluntary sector organisations including a number of years as Consultant Psychological Therapist for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where she established a reputation for innovation in leadership, service development, staff supervision and training.
