Anna Berry

Accredited

Anna is an accredited UKCP psychodynamic therapist with a wide range of clinical experience in community organisations, the criminal justice system, private practice and university counselling services. Prior to training as a psychotherapist Anna worked in the education and charity sectors, including roles in domestic abuse and adoption services.

Her work with diverse client groups has given her experience of a broad range of issues such as anxiety/depression, grief, intersecting aspects of identity, trauma and self-esteem. As a psychodynamic practitioner, Anna is interested in how early experiences and attachments may influence our patterns of relating as adults. As a starting point for change and growth she offers a collaborative space in which clients are free to talk about any aspect of their lives which they feel is causing difficulty and views the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to think together about how the past and present may be linked.
